STATEMENT OF IMPARTIALITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY
IFC GLOBAL will:
– Act with impartiality and confidentiality in the conformity assessment services it provides;
– Provide all necessary resources to ensure the best possible execution of conformity assessment services, the continued satisfaction of its clients, and the minimization of complaints;
– Not engage in any covert or direct discriminatory practices by speeding up or slowing down the process for client organizations applying for conformity assessment services, and will ensure that conformity assessment services are accessible to all applicants;
– Access to conformity assessment services will not depend on the client’s size,
– Act with impartiality and confidentiality in the conformity assessment services it provides;
– Provide all necessary resources to ensure the best possible execution of conformity assessment services, the continued satisfaction of its clients, and the minimization of complaints;
– Not engage in any covert or direct discriminatory practices by speeding up or slowing down the process for client organizations applying for conformity assessment services, and will ensure that conformity assessment services are accessible to all applicants;
– Access to conformity assessment services will not depend on the client’s size,
membership in any association or group, or the number of services rendered, and will not impose excessive financial or other demands;
– Refuse to provide services to client organizations where any situation arises that could give rise to a conflict of interest during the acceptance of conformity assessment applications;
– In the context of social compliance services, where a conflict of interest arises where there is any situation that could, in reality or apparent, create an incentive to report something other than the true and accurate facts collected during such services, IFC GLOBAL and its personnel will avoid such conflicts of interest in order to protect the integrity and impartiality of all reports and decisions.
– In carrying out its activities, it will guarantee that its employees are free from all kinds of political, commercial and financial pressures.
All personnel participating in conformity assessment activities will make their decisions without being influenced by any person or institution.
IFC GLOBAL adopts an objective approach to parties in conformity assessment activities and has determined the necessary measures for situations that may give rise to conflicts of interest, and approaches to eliminate or reduce risks.
IFC GLOBAL has professional liability insurance against damages or risks that may arise to third parties within the scope of conformity assessment activities.
IFC GLOBAL undertakes that:
– It will not carry out the design, implementation, operation or maintenance activities of the products that have undergone conformity assessment;
– It will not offer or provide consultancy services to its clients;
– It will not offer or provide management system consultancy, internal audit services or in-house training to its clients .
